- MSI will extend the refreshments of the panel on its monitors OLED CARE 2.0 at 24 hours instead of 16 hours
- This will eliminate gameplay disruptions for players
- This will come into force from May
OLED monitors have gradually become a general public option for many users (especially players) with advanced care technologies designed to help prevent image retention and burning. Fortunately, MSI introduces a new measure to further improve the efficiency of this technology.
As indicated in a press release, MSI will extend its timer OLED CARE 2.0 to 24 hours to prevent the protection of the panels (pixel trips) from activation automatically to stop burning (permanent image retention). Previously, this would occur every 16 hours which would disrupt activities – but now, users will have more flexibility with this function without much disturbances.
This will greatly show how much MSI OLED care is, because most other monitors advise users to start Pixel REFROIDE at least every 4 or 6 hours: with my Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OUD Ultrawid, the prompts will also be presented to activation of activation.
Measures like this could prove to be beneficial for MSI and other OLED screens: one of the main reasons why most PC users will not make the transition to the OLED from an ordinary LED monitor (apart from its expensive nature), is the fear of potential burning, but it very quickly becomes a non-conjunction.
OLED monitors finally receive the attention they deserve, and I love it
There is still a long way to go through OLED monitors in terms of price and improvements for work -related activities – because most OLED users complain about the text fringe when they work at home – but it is great to see that companies make additional efforts to make them more accessible.
Samsung has already announced that it would introduce cheaper OLED monitors to help accelerate the transition from ordinary LEDs, which could encourage players to change. I have already said it, but Oled is literally the best type of display that I had the pleasure of using, with deeper black levels thanks to an infinite contrast ratio, ultimately offering great image precision.
Updates of technologies like OLED CARE 2.0 are examples of what will help the type of display to become current. We also see discounts more often for the tastes of Samsung’s Odyssey G6 QD-Oled, which is currently 31% reduction on Amazon.
This is only a matter of time before the LED was left for a large majority, and I can’t wait for this day to come.
