The Buckingham Palace said Thursday that King Charles had visited the humanitarian air operator, Mission Aviation Felowship (MAF), to celebrate their 80th anniversary as well as the 50th anniversary of the independence of Papua Nouvelle-Guinée.
The monarch seemed to be in good Spirt during his royal commitment which came a few days after being briefly hospitalized.
According to a press release published by the Palace, “Mission Aviation Fellowship, considered to be the largest humanitarian air operator in the world, flies around 14,000 distant destinations to provide support to isolated communities, including access to medicine, technology and education”.
“His Majesty has unveiled its new plane, which will help the remote regions of Papua New Guinea, and had the opportunity to meet the MAF staff and volunteers,” he said.
