The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government and Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) officials rejected information on Thursday that the founder of the PTI Imran Khan affected Minister-in-Chief Ali Amin Gandapur and government spokesperson Saif, the task of negotiating with creation.
The denial occurs in the midst of generalized speculation on the consumer and social media, saying that Khan had asked the management of the KP to “re -engage” with the creation during a recent meeting at the Adiala of Rawalpindi prison.
Lawyer Saif, responding to reports, said: “No one was assigned to a new task to maintain negotiation with the establishment by the founder of the PTI.”
He said that the April 2 meeting between Khan and Gandapur revolved around governance, terrorism and regional affairs, including the situation in Afghanistan. SAIF added that Khan had published instructions to the chief minister of KP concerning administrative issues.
According to Saif, Khan reiterated his position to engage in any maintenance for a personal benefit. “He would not speak to anyone for personal gains, including the prison guarantee,” he said, citing the former Prime Minister.
The meeting marked the first interaction between Khan and Gandapur in almost a month and a half, lasted more than two hours. The discussions would also have mentioned institutional confrontations and criticisms led by party leadership on social networks.
In addition, the president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, had previously refuted the allegations of any agreement with the establishment. He said that although contact was restored, “the final negotiations had not even started” and described the speculation of an agreement as “baseless” and disconnected from the realities of the soil.
Echoing the party line, the PTI information secretary, Sheikh Waqas Akram, also rejected reports, calling them “false complaints” designed to mislead the public.
“No one went to convince the founder of the PTI to negotiate,” he told a private news channel, insisting that Khan had not responsible for launching talks.
Akram criticized the efforts to twist the facts for a political advantage and said that the meeting focused only on the functioning of the KP government and questions from the internal party. “Gandapur will present the Khan’s directives to the Party political committee,” he added.
