On Friday, the senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi (MQM-P) movement (MQM-P) movement (MQM-P) congratulated the recent government’s recent electricity prices on Friday from 12 to 17%, calling for significant relief for various consumer groups.
Addressing Karachi’s media, Farooq Sattar said that pricing, announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, was the direct result of MQM-P efforts in the current coalition government.
He explained that MQM -P had concentrated on two key questions during his participation – reducing electricity costs and resolving water supply problems – and played a crucial role in reducing reductions.
He noted that some consumers had seen their electricity bills decrease from Rs 10,000 to Rs 8,500 due to discounts.
For the future, Farooq Sattar has expressed his hope that the upcoming budget would lead to a reduction in interest rates from 12% to 9%, which would make loans more accessible to the public.
He recognized that the impact of these measures could take time to be fully achieved, but stressed that they were represented significant progress in government economic policies.
