We recently reported on the official launch of the GMKTEC Evo -X2, a compact but powerful mini PC propelled by the AMD Ryzen AI Max + 395 APU – and GMKTEC lighthouse even obtained the CEO of AMD Lisa SU to sign the first production unit, which makes it a nice little collector’s element.
GMK Gemini now says that the EVO-X2 should be launched on the Chinese market for 14,999 CNY, or about $ 2,066-a strong increase compared to its predecessor, the EVO-X1, which cost $ 1,099 at launch.

Evo-X2 packs power
The graphic performances come from the integrated GPU Radeon 8060s, which includes 40 calculation units, more than double the 16 CUs found in the Radeon 890m which is shipped with the range of Strix points of AMD.
In the recent tests of ETA Prime, the EVO-X2 has demonstrated Smooth 1440P game performance, helped by the advanced “Arctic” cooling system with a steam chamber and double turbine fans, which maintains the thermal output under 140 W.
Built with AI and workloads with high data intensity, EVO-X2 also has impressive automatic learning capacities. It supports a local parameter model of $ 70 billion without the need for cloud resources, and its NPU XDNA 2 offers 50 dedicated IA performance summits, contributing to a total of 126 summits, exceeding the estimated IA capacity of NVIDIA RTX 5090D.
For connectivity, Evo-X2 comes with four USB-A ports, two USB-C 40 GB ports It also supports WiFi 7 for wireless connectivity.
Pre -orders in China begin on April 7 via JD.com. At the time of writing the editorial time, there was no word on global availability for the new device.
