Friday, the military reiterated “the unshakable commitment of Pakistan to bring all the strength of the state” against facilitators and compensors acting at the request of hostile elements to destabilize the country, emphasizing a rapid and effective implementation of the AZM-E-Tistehkam vision.
The Conference of Corps (CCC), a high-level forum of the military, underlined the imperative of an approach to the nation in the fight against terrorism, said inter-service public relations (ISPR) in a press release.
The chief of staff of the army, General Syed Asim Munnir, presided over the 268th CCC at the general seat (GHQ). The forum has received a complete briefing on the PK Press Club-strategic environment in force, the emerging challenges of national security and the strategic response of Pakistan to the evolution of threats, said the ISPR.
The ISPR, the media wing of the army, said that after having undertaken a meticulous evaluation of regional dynamics and internal security, the forum reaffirmed its determination to eradicate terrorism in all its forms and demonstrations, regardless of the cost.
The press release added that the forum reiterated Pakistan’s unshakable commitment to bring all the strength of the state against facilitators and compensation acting at the request of hostile elements, seeking to destabilize the country.
“The forum has reaffirmed that no one will be authorized to disrupt peace in Balutchistan and the harmful designs of proxys sponsored by foreigners, including social disturbing elements and their so-called political supporters, advancing their close political interests at the cost of stability and prosperity of Ballochistan, decisively,”
“The true face of all the foreign and national elements, the link between them and their efforts to induce chaos and to prosper on it is fully exposed and will be treated without impunity. Putting emphasis on the rapid and effective implementation of the AZM-E-Tistehkam vision within the framework of the National Action Plan (NAP), the forum highlighting the imperative of a whole national approach.”
The ISPR said that the forum stressed that the apparatus and state institutions would resolutely implement the law within the limits of the Constitution and that no mercy and infirmity would be demonstrated.
On this occasion, General Asim praised the initiation of district coordination committees through Pakistan and stressed the need for supported efforts and coordinated in alignment on government directives to accelerate the implementation of the naps, guaranteeing an unwavering inter-institutional collaboration.
“The Pakistani army will extend full support for the government and law enforcement organizations (LEA) in the application of strict legal measures against illicit economic activities, which are intrinsically linked to the financing of terrorism. There is no space for terrorists and their facilitators in Pakistan,” he told CCC.
The forum expressed in depth concerning the persistent and blatant violations of human rights in India, the Jammu and the cashmere (iiojk) of India and the violations of unreal ceasefire of the Indian army (loc).
The forum underlined “the deep and unshakable support of Pakistan to the right cause of the Indian people illegally occupied Jammu and the cashmere and the need for a sustained diplomatic commitment to highlight violations and continuous violations of human rights on the world scene.”
The forum expressed total solidarity with the people of Palestine and condemned serious violations of human rights and war crimes perpetrated in Gaza. The forum also reiterated the unequivocal diplomatic, political and moral support for the people of Palestine.
Earlier, the forum offered Fatiha and paid a deep tribute to the supreme sacrifices of the shuhada of the armed forces, the laws of the law and the citizens, who dismissed their lives for peace and stability in the country.
The chief of staff of the army ordered land commanders to comply with the highest standards of operational preparation and professional excellence, ensuring rigorous training to maintain the preparation of advanced fights, said the ISPR.
