The Punjab Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the creation of 13 new sahulat bazaars through the province to provide affordable products to the public.
The new markets, aimed at providing essential foods at reduced prices, will be installed in areas such as Nowshera Warkan, Burewala, Kabirwala, Sangla Hill and Jalalpur. Additional markets will also be established in Bahawalpur, Attock and Mrier.
The projects are planned for completion by August, the district administrations asked to allocate land to the Bazars.
These markets will also be supplied by solar energy, which should reduce electricity costs up to 70%, savings passed on to the public in the form of lower prices.
Approval of more than 690 million rupees was granted for the conversion of solar energy of the Bazars.
The initiative complies with the vision of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to eliminate inflation and provide low -income and middle -class families with access to affordable food.
