Punjab Minister of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, announced that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will soon reveal another major relief for the people.
At a press conference in the provincial capital Lahore, Azma Bokhari developed the public aid provided by the government, economic stability and the measures taken by the administration.
She said that after Eidul Fitr, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a reduction in electricity prices, which will be extremely beneficial for the public during the hot summer months.
She mentioned that this relief was granted at the right time, and the government achieved an excellent feat by convincing the IMF. She also shared this soon, the Prime Minister will announce another great news.
The provincial minister criticized the opposition, declaring that those who had interests acquired in PIPs and electricity companies cannot tolerate public aid.
Discussing the performance of the Punjab government, she said that the Ramadan public services markets saved the public from 11.11 billion rupees, where purchases worth 3.57 billion rupees were made. About 28,000 citizens have received goods worth 30 million rupees thanks to free home delivery from these markets.
In August, 13 new public services markets will be established and the existing markets will be converted into solar energy at a cost of 690 million rupees.
She said that wherever Maryam Nawaz sees the public interest, projects will be launched. As part of the “Sahut on the Go” pilot program, mobile public service centers will be set up at 14 locations.
The government is also focusing on cleanliness, availability of drugs and job provision.
Azma Bokhari also said that billions of rupees had been spent to provide jobs to 100,000 people, and a structured cleanliness system was implemented during Eid.
Criticizing the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, she said that corruption stories are widely known in the province. She also expressed her concern about the Ghandapur declaration on RS75 spending is believing for the party.
Continuing her declaration, she underlined the situation of deterioration of health, education and infrastructure at Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and mentioned evidence of corruption in the purchase of basic equipment such as manual gloves.
It raised questions on the poor dissemination of funds in wheat supply, the abusive use of funds in the name of mosques and the alleged abusive use of pension funds.
The provincial minister described the policy on the distribution of unhappy water and said that instead of solving the problem during gatherings, Bilawal Bhutto should play a responsible role.
At the end of the press conference, she expressed her concerns about the environment in theaters and declared that discussions had taken place with the chief minister concerning this issue. She also accused theaters of having tried to make her sing and threaten legal action.
Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Thursday a reduction in electricity prices for national consumers of 7.41 rupees per unit.
The drop in prices is part of the government’s efforts to relieve Pakistanis while trying to strengthen the economy.
The announcement, made during a special event to which the members of the firm and the business leaders were presented by the government at the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for a price reduction.
