Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif are expected to leave for London next week, according to sources close to the Sharif family.
Nawaz is expected to undergo a routine medical examination during his stay, which is expected to last about two weeks, sources said.
The trip will also include political commitments. Nawaz should contact the PML-N Convention abroad in London, where party workers in Europe and beyond should come together.
The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, is also likely to accompany her father during the visit, according to party initiates.
Family sources have also indicated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif should join them in London after his official visit to Bélarus.
Key meetings involving upper members of the Sharif family would also be planned during the stay in London.
