Disney unveiled the first trailer for the coming suite of a Legacy suite, Tron: Ares.
About 15 years since we have ventured for the last time inside the grid, the new film “follows a very sophisticated program, Ares, which is sent from the digital world to the real world on a dangerous mission, marking the first meeting of humanity with the beings of IA”. And to judge by the trailer, which can be seen below, it will be a wild ride, with all the light cycle action fans that you could wish after a decade and a half waiting.
To watch
The history of Tron The franchise was a case of sustainable IP content, little content. The first film arrived in 1982, surfing on the wave of the new video game and the craze of Arcade with a story that saw Jeff Bridges with fresh face playing Kevin Flynn, a game developer transported in a computer world. Using a CGI pioneer, the film introduced emblematic light cycles, presenting a completely original fantastic world.
While the aftermath was immediately ousted, it took until 2010 to Tron: inheritance To finally hit screens, focusing on the son of Kevin Sam (Garrett Hedlund) and his investigation into the disappearance of his father, finally leading him to another digital world, completely more modern.
While the film saw Jeff Bridges resume its role and used 3D advanced effects, a suite has failed to materialize, and it is better known for the emblematic soundtrack of Daft Punk.
A lively television series, Tron: uprising – What you will not see any rankings among the best Disney + series – taking place between the two films, broadcast on Disney XD in 2012, but failed to take momentum and was canceled after a season. Disney kept the franchise alive via their parks, however, with Tron Light Power Run Cycle used as a flagship roller coaster attraction in their Shanghai and Orlando stations.
What can we expect from Tron: Ares?
Tron: Ares This seems to be a big Disney swing to keep the franchise relevant, and to judge by this first trailer, could be one of the best Disney + films of the year.
Although a large part of the plot is maintained under the Wraps for the moment, we know that Jared Leto plays Ares, a sophisticated and sensitive program that makes its way to the digital world in ours. The overview of the trailer for a cycle of neon red light cuts a police cruiser in two while accelerating a wrapped highway excites us very excited with regard to store, especially if the full score of Nine Inch Nails (Daft Who?) Is half as beating as the extract we hear in the trailer.
From Pirates of the Caribbean: Men who died tell no story Director Joachim Rønning, the third episode of the saga also seems to be a soft restart of the franchise, with none of the sons left after LegacyThe conclusion apparently resumed, and although we heard Jeff Bridges de Voix Off, his role may well be camel. The new Sneak Peak also gives us our first overview of Greta Lee as EVE, Evan Peters as Julian and Gillian Anderson.
With a topical spin spicy the human race with visuals in work and breathtaking visuals, Tron: Ares It looks like it is worth waiting for the franchise fans of hungry content. We look forward to starting again in the grid when the Threequel arrives on October 10.
