The phenomenon of the WNBA Caitlin Clark has provided moments of fear and antagonism on the basketball field.
The recruit year of Clark in 2024 and the end of his university career experienced several moments of confrontation with other players, including sometimes illegal successes on Clark.
Clark fans noted a large part of these situations against the other involved players, but some female basketball personalities have accused Clark of being a trash speaker.

Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon suggested that Clark talks more about waste than any other WNBA player.
“They chewed, no one is talking about shit only Caitlin too,” said Hammon at a June press conference.
Uconn women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma, during an interview on the podcast “Make a Phil Martelli”, said the reason why the players attack Clark because of his trash speech.
“Now she talks a lot about the field,” he continued Clark. “When people talk about WNBA,” why do these people beat Caitlin Clark? “Because she talks a lot about the field.

After a infamous safe blow against Clark by Chicago Player Sky Chennedy Carter in June, former WNBA player Chiney Ogwumike, said in an ESPN appearance that Clark was traveling before the blow.
“The WNBA has always been a physical league. … And on the complete sequence of this game, Caitlin spoke, and in this league, no one withdraws to talk about garbage,” said Ogwumike.
However, Clark suggested that all of these statements that she talks about trash is false during an interview on “My Next Guest Need inroduction of Netflix with David Letterman”.
“People say I’m talking about garbage, I don’t,” said Clark.
Clark also added that opposing players did not tell him about the waste either.
“No one really talks to me about garbage, honestly, I swear. Maybe it will happen next year,” said Clark.

Clark also explained the circumstances that would prevent him from talking about garbage and admitted a time when it happened.
“The only thing is that if someone tells me something, I’m probably going to go back to you, but I’m not really going to start.
“Someone who talked about the trash was [former Phoenix Mercury star] Diana Taurasi. But everything was very fun. We played them at home, and she encouraged me, like, quite hard, a little from behind. And I turned around, I told the referee: “It’s intentional, you did not go for the ball”, ” [and] She, as, returned to me, and I said to myself: “Okay, start again”. And in a way we continued to come and go against each other, then we went down to the other end. “”
Clark added that later in the game, Taurasi said to Clark, “I just love you.”
