Karachi:
The marine breeze has been completely restored, and the mercury in the city should remain between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius for the next three days, the spokesperson for the Pakistological Meteorological Department (PMD), Anjum Nazir Zeigham on Tuesday.
The city has remained hot and humid but outside the summits observed in the past few days.
According to PMD, the maximum temperature was 34.2 degrees while the humidity was 48%. According to the PMD heat waves alert, the central and southern Sindh districts are likely to attend day temperatures of approximately five to seven degrees higher than the average temperatures of April.
The highest temperature of the day, 47 degrees Celsius, was recorded in Nawabshah due to the current heat wave. The districts of Larkana, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Jamshoro could remain in the grip of intense heat on Wednesday (today).
Light rain is possible in Jamshoro, Dadu and Nawabshah.
