- Users report a persistent Google messages bug
- He asked on several occasions an emoji reaction to images in cats
- The problem can be limited to users performing the beta application
We see several reports of a rather boring emoji reaction bug in Google Messages – the one who invites you to apply a reaction to the last message received before you can do something else, if the last cat’s message was an image.
These reports have surfaced on Reddit (via the Android police) in recent days, and it seems that some users have met them. It does not really break the application, but it allows a more frustrating user experience.
Emoji reactions were added to Google messages last year, one of the many upgrades was recently launched on the application to help it catch up with other popular messaging services, including Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and Imessage.
This means that you can react to any message with an emoji of your choice, rather than sending a complete answer: but with this bug, users are invited to leave a reaction as soon as they return to a cat. Usually you have to press a message for a long time to raise emojis.

Regarding the bugs in Google messages, it is not the most serious that we have ever encountered. The easiest way to solve the problem is to send a standard SMS to add to the cat, which seems to resume normal service again. We asked Google an update on the problem and update this story if we hear.
The bug also seems to affect users of the beta version of Google Messages – so you can try to update the latest stable version to solve the problem. You can do this from the Google Messages list in the Play Store app on your phone.
Hopefully this embarrassment will be captured before it does not deploy, which should be the case if it is only beta users who are affected. After all, the goal of beta tests is to crush this type of bugs before a full update.
Diligent Code Diggers has identified many new features, apparently, on the way to Google messages: it seems likely that we will see improvements in the way the longer texts are managed and how you can manage your busy group cats.
