- Daredevil: born again Episode 8 generates many online discussions
- The Disney + show has viewers who debate some of its most interesting history beats
- Marvel fans should get answers in the final of season 1 next week
Daredevil born again Episode 8 has now been released – and the penultimate episode of the first season of the Marvel television show generates many online discussions.
So far, the Disney + series has largely separated its main characters. That all the changes in “Isle of Joy”, who sees Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and other key people collide in undoubtedly the most explosive episode of the show to date. And, predictable, Marvel fans had a lot to say about the events that take place.
Complete spoilers immediately follow For Daredevil: born again The eighth chapter of season 1.
Who really killed Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson – and is he really dead?
The death of Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson, the best friend and colleague lawyer of Matt Murdock, was an emotionally devastating means for the Marvel Cinematic Universe of Daredevil (MCU). This is particularly true for those of us who watched Netflix Daredevil TV show, which Again born is a direct continuation of.
However, while we saw Foggy die on the screen, Marvel fans have a wild theory that Foggy is not dead. After all, one of the most famous comic strip races in Daredevil is built around a story where Foggy is supposed to be murdered, but actually rigged his own death to enter a control program. Again born is somewhat inspired by this series written by Ed Brubaker, which is why some viewers are not convinced that Foggy mixed his mortal coil.

It seems more and more likely that fans were also right to suppose it. At the time, we thought that Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter, alias Bullseye, was responsible for the death of Foggy. Indeed, we watched him shoot Foggy in one of the best episodes of Disney + shows.
“Isle of Joy” upset that by revealing Vanessa Fisk was responsible for putting the blow on Foggy. Bullseye may have pressed the trigger, but it was Vanessa who initiated the plan that led to the apparent disappearance of Foggy.
Or, so it would seem. Although Vanessa does not explicitly confirm that Foggy is still alive, she insinuates as much in Matt. Okay, she doesn’t tell him that “you have to relax”, which could be interpreted in many ways. I believe, however, that she tells Matt to calm down because, as long as he takes a few deep breaths, Matt will be calm enough for Vanessa to tell him that Foggy is not really dead (that’s what, like me, Redditor responsible_cod_3973 hopes, anyway).
Vanessa may have told Matt too, if Bullseye did not shoot the mayor’s ball a few seconds later. But, more about this later.

If Foggy turns out to be life in the final of season 1 or Daredevil: born again Season 2, there are questions that require an answer.
What has frightened him so much that he not only simulated his own death, but asked Vanessa’s help to do it? When and how did Bullseye get involved? As the user CIG_SG_THOWAWAWAWAY points out, Dex tried to kill Vanessa in the last season of the Netflix show. Why, then, would she do it in the fold to help misty “work”?
And, more importantly, what Matt will do that if he learns that Foggy is alive, this fog lied to Matt and Karen, And Has this fog successfully staged its own death using criminals?
Why does Matt Murdock save the life of Wilson Fisk?

These questions will have to wait because there is a press at hand. Namely, why did Matt save the life of his archnemis Wilson Fisk at the mayor’s ball?
While I was referring above, Bullseye – who escaped captivity earlier in “ Isle of Joy ” with, according to some fans, the help of Matt (more on this subject fiercely debated later) – manages to infiltrate the event of sumptuous black tie. It seems that he also has a lonely goal to do so: kill Wilson Fisk.
It is not surprising that Bullseye wants to assassinate him. As directors, Julian Benson and Aaron Moorhead stressed in a recent interview with YouTube, the pair has a story.
To start, Fisk left Dex paralyzed in the final of season 3 of Netflix Daredevil Series, they therefore have a previous form for locking horns * ahem *. Then there is the fact that Fisk is responsible for passing Bullseye to pass in the “Gen Pop” area of the prison (General Populace) in Again born Episode 8. Indeed, Fisk launches Dex to the wolves with the hope that other serial delinquents will take off.

Bullseye therefore has two major reasons for looking for and assassinating Fisk in the Marvel Phase 5 television program. He would also have succeeded, if it was not for Matt’s intervention.
Using his superhuman audience, Matt learns that someone is preparing a busy rifle to shoot Wilson Fisk. While Bullseye is relaxing, Matt throws himself in front of the blow; The ball striking his chest and seriously injuring the holder.
Since Murdock and Fisk are long -standing enemies, some viewers ask why the first would not let Bullseye kill the opponent under Murdock oath.

For me, the answer is simple: Murdock (and Daredevil by Proxy) has a rule without killing. It is something with which he is regularly struggling in the comics of Marvel and his two television programs, but Catholic education of Murdock always wins.
Of course, he almost violated this rule Again bornFirst of the first time he threw a bullseye of a roof for having apparently killed Foggy. Even then, Murdock was so disturbed by his own behavior that he abandoned the daredevil for an entire year. The vigilante does not take lives – he saves them, it is therefore logical that he would not leave Bullseye Killing Wilson Fisk.
Anyway, on Resetera, users, including violence Jack, Lonestar and Planetsmasher, think that this moment will again shake the dynamics between Murdock and Fisk. I hope we will see the immediate benefits in the final of season 1 next week.
Has Matt Murdock intentionally released Benjamin ‘Dex’ Pointdexter, alias Bullseye?

Perhaps this episode is the biggest discussion point, however, is whether Murdock has intentionally released Bullseye.
Remember that Dex was sentenced to a lifelong sentence for killing Foggy and many other customers at the Josie bar in the opening chapter of this season. And, after having moved to “ Gen Pop ” under the orders of Fisk, he holded his hand in Murdock to call on the help of the lawyer champion to go to the lonely isolation for Dex’s own safety.
As you can expect, Murdock is not receptive to the idea because, well, when the duo will meet halfway from “Isle of Joy”, Murdock always believes that Bullseye killed Foggy. Clearly always furious at the death of his friend in the hands of this psychotic killer, Murdock breaks the face of Dex in the table to which he is chained before calling the pop on the stroke of the guard to bring Dex to his cell.
On the surface, it seems that Murdock simply unleashes Bullseye for having murdered Foggy, then the audacity to ask for the help of Murdock. However, the sections of the Marvel fans base maintain that Murdock has in fact helped Dex to escape prison. Indeed, some suggest that, undressing Dex, Murdock knew that Dex would be sent to the prison medical unit. With his unmanned hand, the drawing sociopath could get out of prison.

Indeed, the wires of Reddit and will resender, as well as other sites and applications of social media, are full of fans debate and / or offering their opinions on the above.
Resetera user, Grunty, said that he had not even considered that Murdock would help Dex, while Lonestar thinks that the first deliberately helped the last.
Others were less satisfied with this possible rhythm of history, however. On Reddit and Restete, fans such as Realdelalace and Coiota expressed their frustration as to the possibility that Murdock helped one of his biggest enemies to escape the prison.
Sitting squarely on the fence, Planetsmasher and Minthara were less sure of the true meaning of this controversial scene.

Based on the YouTube video to which I linked earlier, Benson and Moorhead indicated that they had left things intentionally vague, so that fans can decide.
Are we going to know if Murdock helped dex or not in episode 9? Maybe. For the moment, one thing is certain: whether or not it has done it, it has ended up being shot by Dex in “Isle of Joy”. Calon one more ball scar on Murdock’s body, everyone!
