The annual showcase of Xbox games and a special External worlds 2 Direct was officially announced this summer.
Microsoft has shared the news in a new post Xbox Wire, confirming that the Xbox game showcase will return and will be broadcast live on June 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. PT / 1h het / 19h CEST / 6 p.m. GMT.
This year, the showcase will only be digital and will present fans a new look on the upcoming titles of studios and new parties from Party Partners.
Just like the Star field Directly in 2023 and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct last year, the Xbox game showcase will be followed immediately by External worlds 2 Direct in a double exclusive function.
The direct “will bring you inside the walls of the Entertainment Obsidians” and will reveal new details on the game, including the gameplay and the developer’s information.

External worlds 2 was announced last December and is expected to be launched this year for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. It will also be an outing on the day of the day for Xbox Game Pass.
