The legend of tennis Martina Navratilova defended equity in the sports of girls and women and struck the democratic legislators who have failed to show her support for her and others.
Navratilova asked a question to the Democrats on Thursday when some states continued to make their nose against the executive order of President Donald Trump to keep men away from the sports of girls and women.

“What are the Dems ready to abandon the men who identify themselves as trans?” She asked on X. “Abortion … The Constitution … the rule of law … it’s just for beginners …”
At the beginning of the year, Navratilova criticized the Democratic legislators who killed the law on the protection of women and girls in sport. The legend of tennis called on democrats to “develop a spine” in an article on social networks.
Trump signed the decree in February and Navratilova deplored that the Democrats did not do what the president did.
“I hate that Democrats have completely failed women and girls about this very clear problem of being female sporting for women only,” she wrote in an article on X.

Meanwhile, democratic legislators such as representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York and Jasmine Crockett from Texas have minimized the problem, even if Trump campaigned on her and defeated Vice-President Kamala Harris in the general elections.
Ocasio-Cortez mentioned the overall subject of democratic support for the Trans community during an interview on the podcast “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” January 23.
“When we allow ourselves to be constantly distracted by these cultural wars around trans people, it is a new thing every day, and the answer is not that we let these people be attacked is that we say:” What are you doing, guy? “I think we have to defense these people if a reflection after the fact that it is not even a debate,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
“As, we must understand and see the bait for what it is, but we do not take the bait by letting these rights erode and go by the way.”
Ocasio-Cortez previously voted in favor of several bills which would allow Trans athletes to play in female and girls sports on a national level, including the law on equality and the declaration of transgender rights. She also said on January 14 that the protection of women and girls in sport would allow children of sexual predators and that “trans girls are girls”.

In an interview with the 19th, Crockett rejected the subject of transcusion trans into female and girls sports as a “distraction”, while minimizing the potential impact they have had on the lives of women and families. Crockett made the comments while criticizing the Democrats to be divided on the issue.
“In this election, we allowed themselves to be divided. We allowed them to distract us, and we allowed them to talk about trans people,” said Crockett. “According to them, trans children, they want to play sports. It is the biggest problem we have had. Since when? Since when? Find the small trans child who ruined your life. I mean, I am like, what do we do? As, what do we do?”
