Benq announced two new 4K projectors as part of its Home Cinema series: the Premium W5850, designed for large theatrical quality screens; And the W4100i, which promises cinematographic quality visuals for house theater rooms to compete with the best spotlights.
The 2,600 Lumen W5 is “designed for the ultimate cinematographic experience”. It is capable of screens of up to 200 inches with a shorter launch ratio from 1.0 to 1.6. This allows him to deliver an 180 -inch screen just four meters.
The W4100i has a LED light source of 3,200 Lumen, an Android TV and AI Cinema calibration mode, which, according to Benq, ensures “cinematographic level visuals” of streaming content.
Benq Home Cinema Series: Key characteristics
Each of the projectors of the home cinema series meets the key standards of the industry, including 100% DCI-P3 and Delta E <3 (with high-end models such as the W5850 making Delta E <2).
There is BenQ HDR -Pro -Pro technology, which improves contrast thanks to multi -stage treatment – overall contrast improving, local and black unpaid contrast improving – and technology supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10 +.
There is an integrated noise reduction to improve compressed streaming content and the latest version of the AI cinema mode in Benq. It is a real -time image composition analyzer that dynamically adjusts HDR, color saturation and sharpness, considerably improving the appearance of compressed video content from the main streaming services.
AI treatment is important among the best televisions, but has not yet had much impact on the spotlight – which is clearly starting to change.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, SPDIF and EARC with Dolby Atmos and Sound Surround 7.1 support. There is also a quick low latency mode that promises a quick response time of 17.9 ms for films, sports and games.
We only have prices in the United Kingdom so far, with the Benq W4100i set for a price of £ 2,999 (around $ 3,890 / $ 6 225 in), while the W5850 should cost £ 4,599 (around $ 5,960 / $ 9,550 at).
