Lahore:
The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, welcomed a warm reception by the vice-governor, Professor Dr Saad Aoglo, at Antalya airport on Friday at his arrival to attend the international conference organized under the Diplomacy Forum Antalya 2025 in Turkiye.
Later, the chief minister attended the inaugural session of the international conference organized under the Diplomacy Forum Antalya 2025.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the inaugural conference and welcomed the participants. The former vice-president of Turkiye and vice-president of the AK Fawad Qatay party and other eminent leaders also met Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The chief minister expressed his deep gratitude to have extended an invitation to attend the Conference of Diplomacy of Antalya 2025. She said: “Pakistani-Turkiye relations are not simply diplomatic but are based on devotion, love and confidence.”
