The former ESPN employee, Jemele Hill, called the Los Angeles Dodgers for visiting President Donald Trump in the White House to celebrate their victory in 2024 World Series.
Hill said on her podcast that she was “disappointed” from the Dodgers for going to the capital of our country, and she spoke of the recent news of the military service of Jackie Robinson briefly withdrawn from the website of the Ministry of Defense.
“I am not surprised that the dodgers went to the White House, but I am always disappointed that they have chosen to [mingle] with the president, whose administration recently tried to literally erase [legacy]”Explained Hill.

“The people who devote themselves to erasing the story do it because they really want to repeat it. So, the efforts of the Trump administration to erase Jackie Robinson are on the brand. When they did it, you would think you would have heard a strong and angry response from the dodgers. Instead, you heard that you heard [crickets]. “”
While Hill implies that the Trump administration deliberately attempted to erase the Robinson military file on the site, the Ministry of Defense told Outkick that the department had asked employees to report all the content of the DEI for withdrawal by artificial intelligence, although the staff members had only one week to accomplish the task.
The celebration of Eagles at Trump’s White House a “good thing,” said the team owner
Due to the short term, errors were made throughout the process, which includes Robinson’s article, which had “dei” in its URL.
Sean Parnell, assistant to the Secretary for the Defense of Public Affairs, confirmed the Outkick report with a declaration.

“Without a doubt, this task was an arduous but incredibly important company. We applied an aggressive calendar so that our services and DOD agencies to comb through a wide range of content, while ensuring that our strength remains ready and fatal,” said Parnell. “From time to time, due to the reality of AI tools and other software, important content has been incorrectly removed offline to be examined.”
ESPN was the first to point out that Robinson’s military service was removed from the DOD website. The department restored the article shortly after the report has surfaced.
Later this month, the Philadelphia Eagles go to the White House to visit Trump. The owner of the Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, who gave a donation to the Democrats in the past, described him as “secular tradition” to be invited to the White House, via Pro Football Talk.
“So there was no reluctance,” added Lurie. “Being celebrated at the White House is a good thing. There were special circumstances (in 2018) which were very different, and it was therefore an obvious choice and awaits impatiently.

“When you grow up, and you hear about it:” Oh, the championship team was able to go to the White House “, that’s what it is. And, therefore, we have not had this opportunity and now we do it. I think we are all looking forward to.”
