Aimee Lou Wood called the last Saturday Night Live sketch, in which Sarah Sherman makes an impression of her character The white lotus.
Now the show has broken the silence on the question.
On her Instagram stories, the British actress shared an update that she received “excuses of SNL”.
“I had excuses from SNL,” said the actress, who plays Chelsea in the HBO success show.
Earlier, the 31 -year -old hit the NBC show, saying: “I found the thing SNL nasty and funny. Such a shame, because I had such a good time to watch it a few weeks ago.”
She continued: “Yes, take the piss for sure – that’s what it is – but there must be a more intelligent, more nuanced and cheaper way?”
“On a positive note, everyone agrees with me on this subject, so I am happy to have said something instead of going to myself,” concluded Aimee before adding some messages from his fans on the sketch.
