Another fan-player controversy involving a ball fault found its way to the MLB scene on Saturday evening, this time involving the star of Los Angeles Angels Mike Trout and a owner of Houston Astros.
Yanier Diaz de Houston skied on the right field line, and Trout began to follow him to the edge of the seats.
It was then that he jumped to catch the ball to get him tore by the fan of astros Jared Whalen from his glove.

MLB fans on social networks immediately compared the situation to the World Series 2024 when fans of New York Yankees took the ball, and Glove, off the hand of the Los Angeles Dodgers star, Mookie Betts, causing their ejection. These fans also obtained an indefinite ban on the 30 ball fields in the big league.
However, there is a key difference in this situation because Whalen was in his right to grasp the ball because he is in foul territory. He never reached the border to take the Steve Bartman on this fateful day at Wrigley Field.

Whalen spoke to athletics after the match, saying that he simply defended his son while the ball was heading in his direction.
“I just didn’t know what was going on,” he said. “I didn’t know it was a room. It was coming to my son’s face. I just stretched my hand.”

Trout appeared as if he was going to make a huge rude game, and he was heated when a referee simply called him a faulty ball.
Security came to address Whalen, but he was not ejected from the game. Instead, he and his son were moved to different seats.
Then, after the Angels 4-1 victory over the Astros, Trout met Whalen and his son in the Daikin Park tunnel. Trout was heard in Whalen that he appreciated his reaction, and Whalen said he did not mean any will to the Angels from the Angels. He even offered the ball at trout.
Trout, giving Whalen’s son a signed bat, signed his father’s fault.

Trout went 1 for 4 with two points produced in the victory, while his colleague Voltueur Taylor Ward went 2-in-5 with a circuit. Nolan Schanuel also put one in victory.
