Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for having been elected respectively as president and president of their respective parties – the PML -Q and the PPP – in intra -spare polls.
In an official declaration, the Prime Minister also facilitated Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Tariq Hassan, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Dr. Muhammad Amjad and Ghulam Mustafa Malik who were elected Vice-President, Secretary General, President of the Punjab, Chief Organizer and Central Secretary of PML-Q, PML-q respectively
He noted that the PML-Q is an important part of the ruling coalition, whose parties “sacrificed their policy for economic stability and the progress of Pakistan”.
The PM hoped that the PML-Q will continue to play its essential role as a party in legislative assemblies to represent the wishes of people and for the progress and development of the country.
In a separate message, Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for being elected president of the PPP for another four years. He also congratulated Humayun Khan, Nadeem AFZAL Chan and Amina Paracha for having been elected respectively as secretary general of the party, secretary and finance secretary.
