- A new leak claims to detail the specifications and prices of the next GPU Radeon RX 9060 XT of AMD
- The price could reach $ 269 in the United States for the 8 GB model
- Performance is supposed to sit between the NVIDIA RTX 4060 TI and AMD RADEON RX 7700 XT
We could finally have a good idea that the long -awaited RX 9060 XT GPU Radeon RX of AMD will be capable – and it seems that it could be worthy of the induction in the best hall of the graphics card.
Thanks to the disclosed information shared by Moore’s law is Dead (MLID) on YouTube, we now know that the RX 9060 XT could be shipped with 32 calculation units, a 128 -bit memory bus with 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM models available, and a TDP between 150 and 200W.
Now, this is not much to go at this stage, but the leak of Mlid also notes that the performance is “above RTX 4060 Ti, but probably below RX 7700 XT”. Okay, so it doesn’t sound that Impressive, but here is the thing: the leak also includes the details of the prices, and it seems very attractive on this front.
The 8 GB model would cost between $ 269 and $ 299, while the 16 GB version should be at $ 329-379. It is not clear if they are potential price ranges AMD itself is still considering, or ranges of prices projected for AIB partner cards. For reference, the RTX 4060 TI – which it is supposed to be supposedly – originally retail at $ 399, and it was almost two full years of GPU price inflation there is.
Budget Battle
Even if AMD strikes us with the upper end of these price estimates, it will be an office GPU at very competitive prices. Although Nvidia has dominated the end of market performance with its RTX 5000 cards, it is undeniable that the largest Rival of AMD has escaped its budget game recently, leaving Intel (is not so bizarre) as one of the best options of the affordable PC play space thanks to its excellent Arc B580 card.
If Team Red can offer RXT 4060 Ti -Batting performance at a price of $ 269, well, it’s the game and the budget GPU market – at least, for the moment. It should be noted, however, that the source of Mlid called “ Original plan a month ago concerning these expected prices, probably in reference to the recent technological price carnage caused by Donald Trump’s tariff war. So … look at this space, I suppose.
Another interesting point raised by the leak has been that the RX 9060 XT could lack material encoders – it is possible that to maintain the price down, AMD chose not to include only the free AV1 video codeur (probably better) H.264 and H.265, because these require license costs.
The leak says that it is not planned of a “non-XT” RX 9060 card, which follows the two different VRAM versions and the suggested basic price of $ 269. In addition, AMD could consider a Radeon RX 9050 XT, at a price probably somewhere in the range of $ 250.
