Sadiq went to Kabul last month as part of the efforts to reset the troubled relationship and find a long -standing solution of terrorist sanctuaries on Afghan soil.

The session of the upper room, chaired by Senator Irfan Siddiqui, was held behind closed doors.

“I have just broken the senatorial committee on foreign affairs during a session to the camera on the situation in Afghanistan and the challenges faced by our bilateral relations.

A frank and constructive discussion on regional developments and the future way for Pakistani-Afghanistan relations were a great experience of learning, “said Sadiq in a statement published on X after the meeting.

Meanwhile, the president of the senatorial foreign affairs committee, Irfan Siddiqui, told journalists that there were expectations of improving the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

IRFAN said visits will help relaunch the bilateral talks process. He said that Ambassador Sadiq shared with the committee that the question of the ban by Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was taken with force with the Afghan authorities.

The committee also decided to convene another meeting on the issue of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, at a meeting with the affairs of Pakistan, Ubaid-Ur-Rehman Nizamani in Kabul, expressed his regret for “the forced expulsion of Afghan refugees and the inappropriate treatment by certain quarters”.

He described current ill -treatment as provocative and harmful to relations between the two countries, and called at the end of such actions, according to the press release published by the Afghan Foreign Ministry.

According to the Afghan Ministry spokesman for Aftranciers, Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the Pakistani diplomat said that he understood the concerns of the Islamic emirate and will share the issue with the competent authorities.
