Trump, regis Philbin, the appearances of other stars in Wrestlemania

Sports fans who generally do not follow professional struggle may not know that Wrestlemania has presented celebrities and athletes since the creation of the event in 1985.

Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper was having fun in the 1980s, and she rooted in the world of professional struggle after her successful song “Girls Want to Have Have” made her debut in 1983. She appeared during the very first Wrestlemania as a manager of Wendi Richter. Richter then defeated Leilani Kai for the female championship of the Federation of struggle then the world.

Muhammad Ali

NFL players have a story to make appearances in Wrestlemania. William “The Refrigerator” Perry was in Wrestlemania 2 in Chicago and participated in WWF against NFL Battle Royal. He was among the last NFL players eliminated in the competition, which was won by Andre les Giants. Jimbo Covert, Ernie Holmes, Harvey Martin, Bill Falic and Russ Francis also participated on the side of the NFL.

Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper rocked the Pontiac Silverdome to Detroit for Wrestlemania III as he escorted Jake “The Snake” Roberts in the ring for her match against Honky Tonk Man. The Honky Tonk Man won the match, but it was the start of Roberts to win the favor of the fans.

Lawrence Taylor

The Legend of the New York Giants, Lawrence Taylor, played a major role in Wrestlemania to participate in a royal battle. He went in 1 against 1 in the main event of Wrestlemania XI in 1995, competing against Bam Bam Bigelow. Taylor was congratulated on his performance while he was beating Bigelow.

Philbin regis

Regis Philbin was a guest commentator to Wrestlemania VII with the late host “Jeopardy” as an advertiser in the ring for the main event. Hulk Hogan beat the SGT. Slaughter to win the WWF championship.

Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson was the most mean man on the planet in the 1990s and his celebrity took him through a scenario involving “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels in 1998. Tyson had been associated with Michaels and Paul “Triple H” Levesque in the stable X D-Generation. He was appointed special executor of the Austin match and Michaels at Wrestlemania XIV. He ended up lighting Michaels and helping Austin win the WWF championship.

Donald Trump

Before he was president, Donald Trump had a huge WWE scenario that linked his popularity to “The Apprentice”. He was in the battle of the billionaires of Wrestlemania 23 against Vince McMahon and supported Bobby Lashley in a match against the competitor of McMahon Umaga. If Lashley lost the match, McMahon should have shaved Trump’s hair and vice versa. Lashley won and Trump helped Steve Austin shave McMahon’s hair. Trump is a temple of WWE renown.

Snoop Dogg

The legendary rapper of the west coast appeared during several events in Wrestlemania during his career. He was the master of the ceremonies of Wrestlemania XXIV for a tag team match between Maria and Ashley Massaro and Beth Phoenix and Melina. He accompanied Sasha Banks in the ring for Wrestlemania 32 and was plunged into an impromptu match against Miz in Wrestlemania 39.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian was the hostess of Wrestlemania XXIV in 2008 while his popularity in pop culture climbed.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

The reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi storm the world as one of the key members of the successful program “Jersey Shore”. She contributed to Wrestlemania XXVII in 2011 as part of a mixed tag-team match of six people. The “snooki” team John Morrison and Trish Stratus beat Dolph Ziggler, Michelle McCool and Layla.

Rob Gronkowski

The legend of the New England Patriots, Rob Gronkowski, appeared in Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 to help his friend Mojo Rawley to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He was the host of Wrestlemania 36 in 2020 and won the WWE 24/7 championship.

Johnny Knoxville

Comedian Johnny Knoxville had a rivalry with Sami Zayn in 2022, and that culminated in a match in Wrestlemania 38. He beat Zayn in a game Anotherhing Goes with the help of the “Jackass” crew.
