The brave reporter segment generates wild reactions on social networks

The interaction of the Atlanta Braves TV Reporter Wiley Ballard with two female fans while in the antenna sparked a debate on journalism on social networks Monday evening and Tuesday.

The Braves were in the middle of an 8-4 victory against the Blue Jays of Toronto when the Fanduel sports network cut in Ballard, who spoke to two women from the living room on the roof of Rogers Center in Toronto. Neither women seemed to have hope for the brave.

Ballard was in the air when he said that the broadcast stand wanted him to get their figures.

“I’m serious, they say in my ear right now … She doesn’t believe me because she thinks you are inventing that.” Said Ballard. “I will use it in the future, it’s actually a pretty good decision.

“I should have thought years ago.”

A woman apparently put her phone number on Ballard’s phone. The other woman did not seem to follow suit.

Ballard posted on his account X a scene of “Good Will Hunting” showing that the character of Matt Damon obtaining the phone number of the character of Minnie Driver.

The commentator of Braves Color CJ Nitkowski defended Ballard on X. Play-by-Plan Brandon Gaudin also seemed to rent Ballard’s efforts.

The braves went to 5-11 with the victory. The Blue Jays fell to 9-8.
