It is a “difficult period” of “in mourning, shock and disbelief” in the LSU locker rooms this week, chief coach Brian Kelly said on Tuesday while tigers cry the loss of the Large recipient Kyren Lacy.
Lacy, which was to be a selection of NFL draft later this month, was found dead with a “self-inflicted ball injury” after a police pursuit in Texas on Saturday evening, the authorities announced. He was 24 years old.
Kelly told journalists on Tuesday after the team’s spring training they had called on the University’s professional consulting team to help the locker rooms that need it.

“Admittedly, I think everyone in our team has, in a way, had a relationship at different levels with Kyren. Everyone will take care differently. First, understanding that there is not a way you are supposed to feel,” Kelly said. “We strongly rely on our professional advice service. Having this resource here allows you to search for this type of conversation in head that some may need. You want to offer your players the opportunity to have these resources if they need them.”
Kelly talked a lot about his former receiver, which he called a “brilliant star”.
“He had an incredible personality. I will remember him as someone who had a love for the game, a love to be a tiger, and was a guy who played with great emotion. When you think of Kyren, you will smile most of the time because of the way he will remember him. He was a guy full of energy, and I think that a lot of his teammates.

The Harris County sheriff’s office said Fox 26 Houston. The officials learned that Lacy had fled the scene and launched a search after him.
The officials said that the deputies had attempted to stop on traffic on Lacy, but he led them on a car prosecution that lasted miles. Lacy then crushed his vehicle in the spring, according to the authorities.
The deputies who answered withdrew Lacy from the vehicle to take it into police custody, but it was found with a “self-inflicted ball injury” and was declared dead on the scene, said the sheriff.
The broad receiver was the subject of a Louisiana investigation in the context of an accident in December which killed a 78 -year -old, officials announced in January.
