- Skullcandy 360 old method are wireless headphones with bose sound
- 9 hours battery in buds with anc on, ergonomic style bose adjustment
- Available now for $ 99 / £ 99 (about $ 200 in) – The US price will increase to $ 119
Skullcandy has just unveiled its latest headphones, and they are a mashup with Bose which, I think, looks like an incredibly good price for their launch price of $ 99 / £ to £ 99 – although in the United States, it is only an initial introduction price and will officially increase $ 119.
The Skullcandy 360 The Ancient buds are real wireless buds that come in a really cool slippery case with a toric seal to connect to your backpack or your cool skating clothes (press images seem to emphasize the skating atmosphere).
The design of the buds themselves looks more like than a temporary resemblance to the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra headphones, but with funky color options of Skullcandy. They have fins for super-secure adjustment, and apparently it is “Bose license technology [to] Help ensure a perfect fit and block the unwanted sound. “There are fins and ear buttons of different sizes to help get the surest fit for your ear.
Speaking of blocking the sound, they have an active noise cancellation, with adjustable modes via the Skullcandy application and a Passhrough mode “Stos-Aware”. Four microphones feed the ANC, and taking into account the technology involved, it seems that Bose also had the hand here – these could be classified among the best noise headphones with a budget.
Impressively, the battery life with old ones is nine hours of headphones at nine overtime, with 23 overtime of the case. It is well above most of the competition of the best headphones. With the ANC, you get 11 hours from the buds and 29 others from the case.
Now you could assume (like me) with the name “360” that there is a kind of space audio here. Well, there is none.
Which is good given the budget, I have no complaints about it – but I have the impression that Skullcandy has already exploded the perfectly good name that he could have given the new generation version where she did Add this feature.
There is a multi-point couple, a management of Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.3, including the management of Bluetooth the audio, so they are somewhat in the event of the future. There is no mention of the management of Bluetooth Auracast, but the version of Bluetooth here supports it, so this could be possible in the future.
It is also a shame that there is no withdrawal of my support, but I can live without that. There is very little to complain about the contrary – even the little things that are often excluded from the budget buds are here, including the IPX4 sweating resistance and automatic use detection when you remove them.
Color options are particularly good. They are, in the order of how they look great: plasma, leopard, bone, primer and black. They are, in the order of their fresh appearance: leopard, plasma, primer, black and bone.
If these have a sound quality and anc to correspond to the Bose partnership, and the comfort we expect from Skullcandy, they seem to have reached a real value point of view and can rank among the best budget headphones.
We have already had the hand on them and will bring you some first impressions once we had the chance to make early judgments. They are available for today’s purchase.
