NBA playoffs: Hawks trae young ejected after an emotional explosion

The Orlando Magic obtained a place in the playoff series with a victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and did enough to see the elimination of the star Trae Young before the end of the match.

Young collected 28 points and six assists in 40 minutes, but he was not there to see the match. Young gave a strong pass to a referee after having made a basket with 4:48 to play in the game. The referee did not take this too kindly and gave him a technical fault.

A few moments later, he diverted the ball with his foot and did not return it quickly to the referee.

He was thrown from the game from there. The NBA said it was launched to “make fun of the game”.

Referee James Williams approached technical faults.

“Trae Young received its first anti-portive technical fault for launching the ball to a match manager,” he told a pool journalist. “He received his second anti-portive technical fault for launching the ball and making fun of the game while we try to draw the frank launch for the first technical fault and by rule when the player receives two antactive faults which he ejected from the game,” he added.

The Magic won 120-95 to win the seeded n ° 7 in the playoffs.

“Sometimes when I remove my frustration on the referees, it’s not just for me,” said Young. “It is for my teammates. I see Dyson Daniels leaving; he may not yet be a familiar name, but he deserves the same respect as some of these other guys. If you see a fault, you should call a fault. This is almost everything for me.”

Wendall Carter Jr. led magic with 19 points. Orlando star striker Paolo Banchero added 17 points.

“It was a fun game, a big game, a unique type of challenge,” said Banchero. “I was interested in seeing how they would try to keep me. You could say in the first trimester that I was trying to involve my teammates, to move the ball, and these guys started. They transported us throughout the match.”
