- Zeekr 007 GT will join the 007 sedan in the rapid expansion range

Fresh from the launch of its 7X SUV model outside of China, Zeekr has announced that it will put an elegant version of large touch shooting brake of its 007 sedan available in China.
Scheduled to start at only 202,900 RMB (or approximately $ 27,615 / £ 21,000 / $ 43,300 in), the 007GT measures almost 5 meters (16 feet 4 inches) in length, allowing the trunk to evalu 645 liters of kit with the rear kit.
It climbs on the same platform as the recent 7X, as well as many other Geely Group products, with an electrical architecture of 800 V which allows a battery load of 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes from an ultra-fast DC charger.
According to the CNEV Post, the 007 GT will offer two battery sizes, with a cheaper 75 kWh LFP battery offering just over 400 miles of range on the Chinese CLTC test cycle.
Similar to the 7x, Zeekr will also offer its largest “golden battery” of 100 kWh which sees the beach jump to 512 impressive miles.
The performances are also impressive, even the unique motor models at low prices capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 MPH in 5.2 seconds, while the variant of the double AWD engine can cover the same spring in just 3.8 seconds.

Analysis: teasing Tesla with a more attractive beach
Having mounted at the back of a Zeekr 007, I can guarantee the comfort and the luxury levels that the brand has managed to reach. It is a striking car from the outside, but also a very pleasant way of traveling passenger seats.
The 007 GT strengthens the ZEEKR range in so many things that it is aimed at families and couples, with the accompanying press imagery showing the car used for camping getaway and various active outdoor lifestyles.
Although he was not 100%confirmed, Zeekr said he hoped to bring the GT 007 to the global markets (fortunately, abandon 007 and opt for 7GT instead), where he will probably be assessed to face Kia’s Ev6, the VW ID 7 Tourer and even the Tesla Y. model.
Zeekr already has eight models available in China, covering sedans, shooting brakes, MPVs and a variety of SUVs. This is this kind of choice that Tesla is missing so desperately at the moment and is a weak point that rivals, like Zeekr, seek to exploit.
