The Florida State University (FSU) told PK Press Club Digital that it cancels all sporting events until Sunday after a mass shooting on the injured campus at least six people.
“All of Florida State Athletics’ home events until Sunday, April 20 have been canceled,” said a statement. “Other updates to events scheduled for next week will be communicated when available.”

The cancellations will include a series of three games for the school n ° 7 team against Virginia from Thursday, and the last home series of Softball N ° 4 team of the regular season against Georgia Tech, starting on Friday.
The last two school spring football training were also canceled.

FSU also canceled all classes until Friday.
University police said they were responding to an “active scene” on the Tallahassee campus and worked to “control it”. The FSU later wrote on X that the police had “neutralized the threat”, but said that certain parts of the campus are still considered an “active crime”.
A main source of application of Florida law told PK Press Club that at least one person was in detention, but could not confirm whether the individual was a shooter. In addition, the Jacksonville field office of the FBI and the office of the resident agency in Tallahassee are on the scene.
