During an appearance Thursday on “Pat McAfee show“Rodgers said that he had had a lot of” big conversations “with several teams in his first round in free agency. But the MVP of the League four times quickly stressed that the jets were not one of them.

“None of these was the jets, because it was not a great conversation.”
Rodgers Later, developed his comments, detailing the “confusing” and “strange” final conversation that he shared with Glenn. According to Rodgers, he had avoided jets installations with the anticipation that he would have a long conversation with the team leadership on his future.
Instead, what he obtained was a brief conversation about Glenn’s desire to move in a different direction.
“It was for the least two years interesting, but I thought that when I stole across the country on my own ten, that there was going to be a conversation. And the confusing thing for me – and the strange thing – was when I went there, I meet the coach … We start to speak, it lacks the room.”

Rodgers said Glenn had returned with the new director general of the team, Darren Mougey, but the conversation took a quick turn.
“We sit in the office and I think we are going to have this long conversation – I stole across the country – and 20 seconds in it goes – I mean literally, I speak to GM of something, and it leans at the end of its seat and goes” so you want to play football? “”
Rodgers replied that he had done it, but was quickly met by Glenn’s news.
“We are going in a different direction in the quarter.”
“I was not upset about this, I was surprised,” added Rodgers. “I had the impression that there was not much respect in this meeting. I suppose that I should not have been surprised on the basis of some of the things I saw during the two years.”

The most shocking revelation may have been Glenn’s explanation, according to Rodgers.
“I don’t want to be in front of the room saying something and having guys looking at you,” said Rodgers Glenn. He called the “slightly thug” exchange, on the part of Glenn, but admitted that he was always grateful for his two years spent with the organization.
Rodgers was linked to several teams during the offseason, but he said Thursday that retirement was still on the table.
