Peshawar:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s advisor to chief health, Ehtesham Ali, Provincial Minister of Public Health Engineering, Pakhtoon Yar Khan, and chief secretary, Shahab Ali Shah, jointly inaugurated the anti-political campaign on the province’s level.
The campaign, which is expected to start officially on April 21, will extend over five days and aims to vaccinate more than 6.537 million children under the age of five in the province.
For the fluid execution of the reader, 35,460 teams of workers from the trained polio have been trained, while about 50,000 safety staff will be deployed to ensure the safety of the teams.
Speaking during the launch event, the best political and administrative direction in the province reaffirmed their strong commitment to eradicate the poliovirus of the region. They stressed that the government would continue to conduct anti-political campaigns regularly to ensure that each child is protected from this paralyzing disease.
The health adviser highlighted the role of government machines, the health department and law enforcement organizations in collective effort to eliminate polio. Stressing the importance of vaccination, he declared that the health service improves the vaccination system to protect children from polio and 12 other avoidable diseases.
He urged parents and all the segments of the company to cooperate fully with front -line health workers who visit the houses during the campaign and to make sure that their children receive drops of polio for a healthy future.
The chief secretary, in his remarks, underlined the proactive measures of the government to overcome the challenges and ensure that each child under the age of five receives falls from Polio to prevent disability for life. He called on the media to play an essential role in awareness of the community level on the importance of polio vaccination and other immunization programs.
