Chitral:
Friday, the four-day Qaqlasht festival started in the Picturesque Supérieur Chitral district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The Extravaganza event, organized by the Department of Tourism of Provincial Culture under the agenda of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will present colorful sports, traditional games, including polo shirt, football, cricket, volleyball and cultural activities at the picturesque tourist destination qaqlash
The festival was inaugurated by sub-commissioner Chitral Upper, Haseebur Rehman Khan Khalil.
The opening ceremony brought together a police officer from the District of Upper Chitral, an assistant commissioner (head office), an additional assistant commissioner of Morkhow / Torkho, members of the event committee, people of various horizons, professional athletes of different sports and thousands of tourists and spectators.
Speaking on this occasion, DC Haseebur Rehman said that the Provincial Government and the District Administration of Upper Chitral are committed to promoting healthy activities.
He stressed that healthy activities promote healthy young people, who in turn represented their region and their country in national and international sporting events.
