An anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi has canceled the provisional surety of 16 leaders and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), notably Raja Basharat, Sanam Javed, Mishal Yousafzai, and Nadia Khattak, for cases related to the deposit of November 26. Journalist Sami Ibrahim is also among those whose deposit has been revoked.

The hearing on the deposit of the deposit was led by judge Amjad Ali Shah of the court anti-terrorism.

During the hearing, prosecutor Zaheer Shah told court that the accused had abused the mercy of the court for four months by not comparing several times to court.

He argued that the accused deliberately obstructed the investigation process and had unduly benefited from their provisional surety.

The prosecutor also presented references to the decisions of the Supreme Court to support his argument, after which the court canceled the deposit of the 16 managers and workers of the PTI due to non-compliance.

Those whose surety has been canceled include former provincial minister Raja Basharat, Sanam Javed, Mishal Yousafzai, Simabiya Tahir, Taimoor Masood, Fahad Masood, Saad Ali Khan, Raja Nasir Mahfooz, Javed Kausar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Nadia Khattak, Umar Tanveer Butt, Khattak, Umar Tanveer Buth, Babar, Nadia Khattak, Umar Tanveer Buth, Babar, Nadia Khattak, Umar Tanveer But Khan, Abdul Waheed and journalist Sami Ibrahim.

The accused is faced with several cases recorded in various police stations in Rawalpindi and Attock in relation to the demonstration of November 26.
