Las Vegas – The new day returned to the top of the tag team division on Saturday evening with a victory over the War Raiders in the night 1 of Wrestlemania 41.
Kofi Kingston held Ivar while Xavier Woods delivered a trampling of the upper rope.
While Woods was going to look for the pin, Kingston was holding Ivar’s leg and prevented him from taking a momentum to get out of the spit. The referee counted three, and New Day was crowned the world team champion.

Erik and Ivar had a few solid moments while they were trying to grow in the match, but they were exceeded by one of the best tag teams in WWE history from the very beginning.
Woods and Kingston took the belts and immediately went up the ramp. They had told the world that they were going to do the unthinkable and accomplish it, putting their veteran prowess in full demonstration against a team of War Raiders who quickly went up to the scene after injuries.
While Woods and Kingston recalibrated by officially starting Big E from the group, the fans did not make the favor. It does not seem too important, and victory for them makes it even softer.

The new day has won 12 WWE Tag team titles since the group’s creation. Woods and Kingston won four team team titles together.
Woods and Kingston will inform fans of their victory at the next “Monday Night Raw”.
