Karachi / Islamabad:
An alleged attack against the vehicle of a Minister of State by certain demonstrators of the District of Thista, Sindh, caused a reaction of anger of the federal government led by the PML-N, which urged the provincial government led by the PPP to investigate the issue and take the authors on the task.
Protesters belonging to nationalist parties of tomatoes and nationalist potatoes of the Sindh on the procession of the Minister of the State for religious affairs Kheal Das Kohistani while he crossed Thitta on Saturday.
The demonstrators, organizing a demonstration against the Cholistan Canal project, also chanted slogans against the federal government led by PML-N.
After the incident, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif phoned Kohistani and firmly condemned “the attack”. He assured the Minister of State for an in -depth investigation into the incident. “The attack on public representatives is unacceptable. The persons involved in the incident would receive an exemplary sentence,” he said.
Information Minister Atta Tarar also took note of the incident and said “an attack”. He also asked for details on the incident of the Inspector General of the Sindh (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon and a report by the Federal Interior Secretary.
He said that attacks on public representatives are intolerable. He also called on the Sindh government to conduct a complete and transparent investigation into the incident and translate those involved in justice.
Sindh -chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took note of the attack on the Kohistan vehicle and strongly condemned the law in the strongest terms. In his declaration, he said that no one had the right to take over.
The CM ordered the DIG Hyderabad to immediately stop the disbelievers involved in the attack and to submit a report. Shah also asked for a detailed report on the excavation incident.
