Pakistan, water sign several agreements to stimulate bilateral links

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (Water) signed a series of understanding (soft) memorandums to improve bilateral cooperation in key sectors on Monday, including culture, trade and consular affairs.

Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and the Darrier Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, signed two memorandum of understanding: one to promote cooperation between the Ministry of Water Culture and the Pakistan Culture Division, and another for the creation of a joint committee of consular affairs.

In addition, the two leaders attended the exchange of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Water and the Federation of Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

The agreement establishes the joint council of water-skistan, which aims to improve trade and investment relations.

The exchange of the MOU was carried out by the deputy minister for water for economic and commercial affairs Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri and the president of the FPCCI atif Ikram Sheikh.

During the meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dar Vice-Prime Minister welcomed his water counterpart, describing the relationship between the two countries as for a long time and rooted in mutual respect and the shared objectives. He noted that the two nations work together for the well-being and prosperity of their peoples.

Sheikh Abdullah arrived in Pakistan on Sunday evening for an official two -day visit, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He should also meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his stay.
