We are a few days before the OnePlus 13T launch, which will fall on April 24. However, that did not prevent OnePlus from teasing some specifications of choice and the details of the next phone in advance on the calendar, with the latest information concerning the battery capabilities of the device.
According to an ONEPLUS article on the Chinese social media site Weibo, the 13T will be delivered with a battery of 6,260 mAh. This corresponds to the previous affirmations of the company according to which the battery would offer a capacity of at least 6,000 mAh.
In addition to that, OnePlus revealed that the 13T battery will have a bypass. This allows your Android phone to draw directly from the supply of a power source (such as a power bank) rather than its internal battery when loading. This helps prolong the battery on the phone and slow down its degradation.
The fall of data did not end there, because OnePlus confirmed that the 13T would weigh 185g. Compare this to the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, which are both delivered with less spacious batteries of 6,000 mAh but weigh 200 g each. Packing a larger battery in a smaller setting is a surprising movement of OnePlus, but it is certainly welcome.
Few secrets left to reveal
OnePlus was very to come on the 13T, revealing all kinds of images and details on social networks. Previously published photos have shown the range of colors of the device – including gray, pink and black shades – as well as the fact that it will come with a new button.
Leaks also played their role. For example, it has been suggested that the OnePlus 13T will be delivered with an Elite Snapdragon 8 chip, a 6.32 inch screen, an IP65 note and two 50 megapixel rear cameras. Among these two objectives (primary and telephoto), the telephoto lens could offer a 2x optical zoom and a 4x lossless zoom.
That said, we do not yet know the full sheet for the OnePlus 13T, and it is possible that OnePlus saves new intriguing features for the launch event itself. But with so much already in the public field, it will be interesting to see what the company could have retained. We will surely know it on April 24, when the 13T is finally launched.
