The Minister of the Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, congratulated the Department of Police and Fight against Punjab terrorism (CTD) for their successful operation against terrorists in Makarwal, Mianwali, calling him a “significant success” in the current war of Pakistan against terrorism.
In an Islamabad declaration on Monday, he praised the bravery and professionalism of the security forces, which eliminated more than ten terrorists in an intelligence -based operation with high issues.
“By sending more than 10 Khawarij terrorists in hell, the Punjab police and the CTD have demonstrated an exceptional resolution,” he noted.
Tying a tactical and symbolic victory, Naqvi said that the operation had offered a strong warning to the anti-state elements threatening national peace and security. He stressed the importance of these quick responses to save innocent lives and maintain long -term stability.
“I am extremely proud of the courage of the officers. Their efforts are really commendable, “he said, while reiterating government’s commitment to provide full support and resources to law enforcement organizations to combat terrorism.
Security was still tightened in Mianwali and the surrounding area after the operation. Officials have confirmed that intelligence operations will continue to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the region.
