Hospitals overflow as heat waves triggers the health crisis

A severe heat wave continues to grasp the city, which prompted hospitals to establish dedicated heat strokes.

Hundreds of patients with skin diseases have submerged medical installation. Due to intense heat, excessive perspiration and high humidity, skin -related conditions are increasing quickly across the city.

Citizens experience rashes, allergies, heat pimples, itching, as well as fungal and bacterial infections.

Medical experts urge the public to avoid exposure to unnecessary sun, stay hydrated and maintain good hygiene.

While mercury rises, city hospitals have installed specialized services to treat patients with heat strokes.

Jinnah hospital has made special arrangements, including a 22 -bed isolation district offering immediate treatment to affected people.

In charge of emergency services at Jinnah Hospital, Dr. Irfan said the neighborhood is fully equipped with drugs and facilities, and that dedicated staff are in place to provide fast effective care.

He stressed the importance of preventive measures such as drinking a lot of water, staying out of the direct sunlight and keeping the body cool and dry.

An additional director of Karachi’s Skin Hospital, Dr. Abdullah, told L’Express PK Press Club that the hospital underwent enormous pressure, receiving more than 5,000 patients per day with skin -related complaints.

He advised citizens not to share personal articles because it could spread infections.

He explained that an increase in skin problems during extreme heat is common and should be managed with preventive care.

In response to the increase in the number of patients with heat strokes, hospital administrations plan to establish similar services in additional establishments to provide better care during this current emergency.

Despite the expected end of the heat wave on Wednesday, time in the city will remain constantly hot.
