An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore published Mandates of non-reducing stops on Tuesday for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, as part of a case involving violence against the police during a Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), which was held in Lahore on October 5.
The ATC has also issued arrest warrants against three other PTI – Hammad Azhar, Saeed Sindhu and Shehbaz Ahmed – Mandeed Ahmed – Investigation despite a repeated convening of the police.
The police said that the people appointed were sought in cases related to the October 5 demonstration of last year in which PTI workers would have attacked the staff of the police.
According to police officials, PTI leaders had been appointed to several FIRs and were summoned several times to join the investigation, but were not compliant.
