Mavs GM admits an error in calculating the trade of Luka Daceic with the base of the fans

The Dallas Mavericks made the shocking decision to exchange Luka Doncic at the Los Angeles Lakers before the deadline earlier in the season – a decision that will probably haunt the team’s fans’ base for the coming years.

The responses of the Director General of Mavericks, Nico Harrison, on trade, were not seated with anyone who loves the NBA or who are fans of the team. Harrison again spoke to trade on Monday after the hopes of the team’s qualifiers were destroyed in the game tournament.

“I knew that Luka was important for the fans base,” Harrison told a small group of journalists. “I didn’t know what level.”

The acquisition of Lakers Doncouic rediscovered the chances of the team’s NBA championship. He collected on average 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 28 games for Lakers.

Harrison said he was expecting trade criticism, but thought it would have disappeared earlier if Anthony Davis was able to play more with Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, PJ Washington and Dereck Lively II. Davis suffered an injury in the first game he played for Dallas. Irving also suffered an injury at the end of the season.

“We think it is a team of championship caliber and we would have won at a high level and that would have calmed part of the indignation,” he added. “And so, unfortunately, we could not do it, so it continued to continue again and again.”

History will determine how trade is ultimately examined. But the Lakers therefore adding to an aging of LeBron James were definitely the best idea for their future.
