The prospect of the NFL Travis Hunter should play both the broad receiver and the cornerback in the pros, as he did at university. But some experts questioned the validity of an excellent player in the two positions at the pro level.
A player who got closer to Hunter’s aspirations in the NFL is his former from the University of Colorado and the head coach of Jackson, Deion Sanders. Sanders was almost entirely known as an elite corner in his professional career, but also played a wide receiver at rare moments, mainly during the 1996 Dallas Cowboys season.
Now the former NFL recipient and the triple champion of the Super Bowl Ed McCaffrey thinks that Hunter should follow a similar plan to Sanders. McAffrey thinks that Hunter is more precious as a cornerback, and does not expect Hunter to play each offense and defense among the pros, which Hunter has often done at university.

“Personally … I think that at the moment, it offers greater value to the corner position, I don’t see any scenario where it does not leave the field in the NFL, I do not think it is possible. Perhaps for a game or from time to time, you can play a large number of shots in the NFL, but in the long term, I don’t think you can hold on,” said McCaffrey.
“It is different at university when you are considerably better and more physically gifted than the guys against which you face. When you arrive at the NFL, there is not as much gap in talent.”
McCaffrey has not excluded the possibility that Hunter is also concentrated on the wide receiver, but the suggested Hunter mechanisms are currently more refined as a cornerback.
“Could he play the receiver? Absolutely, he is athletic enough to do so. I think he would need to work more on his route and his skills were offensively that he would not do it on a defensive level,” said McCaffrey.
“I think most of the teams seeking to write it want it to be this closed and locked corner that can remove the best receiver in the game.”
McCaffrey said that as someone who believed that the duty of a football player is to play the position that the coach chooses.

As the father of four current and former football players, including the San Francisco 49ers stop, the ball carrier Christian McCaffrey and the receiver of the commanders of Washington, Luke McCaffrey, and the former players Max and Dylan McCaffrey, Ed have seen and helped to facilitate many changes of full -time position.
“Max played DB Junior Year and moved to the senior recipient. Luke played the corner in the second year, was a quarter of a quarter when he was senior, now he is a receiver. Christian played on both sides of the ball,” said McCaffrey.
“So I absolutely like what Travis Hunter has done at university. Travis Hunter is a football player.”
Hunter himself rejected the idea of playing only one position in the NFL.
The next recruit said that he “would never play football again” if he had told him coaches to focus only on the cornerback or the wide receiver.
“He never plays football again,” said Hunter CBS Sports Last week. “Because I have done it all my life, and I like to be on the football field. I have the impression of being able to dominate on each side of the ball, so I really like to do it.”
Last season, Hunter played 713 snaps in attack and 748 snaps in defense and was still incredibly productive despite the huge amount of snaps.
He had 96 catches for 1,258 yards with 15 affected as a wide receiver, when he had 35 plated with four interceptions, 11 defended passes and a forced escape as a cornerback.
Meanwhile, the team which is currently the favorite of the Land Hunter ratings, the Browns of Cleveland, suggested that they wanted Hunter to focus on the wide receiver.
“In terms of Travis Hunter, Cornerback or receiver, the answer is” yes “. He can play both, and I think that is what makes him special.
“But I think what makes him a little unicorn is that he can do both at a high level.”
