CD Projekt Red confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 Will include NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling).
It is according to Digital Foundry.
“We use a DLSS version available for Nintendo Switch 2 equipment, powered by NVIDIA tensor cores,” CD Projekt Red told the publication. “The game uses DLSS in the four modes: in the pocket and moored computer, and the performance and quality variations of each.”
When he started, Cyberpunk 2077 Will offer a choice between 30FPS quality mode and 40FPS performance mode, the latter which would probably only work on televisions that support 120 Hz.
“With coherent performances, the two should be smooth, the 40fps mode between 30 IPS and 60 IPS in terms of fluidity,” said Digital Foundry. “The two modes use 1080p as output resolution with a dynamic resolution in fact in combination with DLSS.”
In portable mode, the quality mode will always publish a 1080p image with DLSS and a dynamic resolution scaling, targeting 30 IPS, while the performance mode will see a drop in resolution at 720p, “with the portable screen in 120 Hz mode and 40FPS as a target.”
Cyberpunk 2077 is the first game to be confirmed to present DLSS after the Switch 2 direct earlier this month.
Nintendo revealed that Switch 2 would have DLSS of Nvidia after Livestream, but has refrained from sharing which games would use it. Currently, it is not clear if one of the titles of the first parties of the company will also offer technology, or if it is only reserved for third -party games which have been published for the first time on PC, as Cyberpunk 2077.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is launched on June 5, 2025 and will cost $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or $ 499.99 / 429.99 £ for the Mario Kart World Bundle, which comes with a digital copy of the game.
Pre-orders are now live in the United Kingdom. American pre -orders should start on April 24 after Nintendo delayed its initial date of April 9, as it assessed the potential impact of prices.
