On Wednesday, Pakistan expressed concerns about the murder of tourists in an attack in Jammu-et-Cachemire of the Indians, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a rapid recovery for the injured.
The declaration came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to questions about the incident, which took place in the district of Anantnag of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Cashmire.
“We are concerned about the loss of the lives of tourists in an attack in ANANNAG,” said spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We present our condolences to the relatives of the deceased and wish the injured a quick recovery.”
At least 26 tourists were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday after armed men opened fire in a popular seaside resort illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (iiojk).
The attack took place on Tuesday in Pahalgam, about 90 km from Srinagar, the main city in the region.
According to Indian police, the attackers set an ambush to a group of tourists, pulling at close range.
The attack also left more than three dozen people injured, many of whom remain in critical condition.
After the attack, the Indian media began to manufacture and spread false and baseless propaganda.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visiting Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, interrupted his trip following the deadly attack, said officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He criticized “the odious act” during the summer retirement of Pahalgam, promising to the attackers “will be brought to justice”.
The murders once came after Modi met in New Delhi with the American vice-president JD Vance, who is on four days in India with his wife and children.
Vance presented condolences in a social media position, while President Donald Trump said that “the United States is strong with India against terrorism”.
