New York sports fans can be brutal against their teams, especially in the playoffs.

Mike Francesa, the New York sports radio legend, showed another example of that after the defeat of the New York Knicks against the Pistons de Detroit in match 2 of the first round, which talks about the NBA Playoff series.

During his Podcast Bet Rivers on Monday, Francesa unloaded on the Knicks, in particular the head coach Tom Thibodeau because of the team’s strange attack in his eyes.

“The four stagnant guys watch a guy playing basketball is not an offense, and I don’t care about your name,” said Francesa, referring to the leader Jalen Brunson playing mainly in an isolated configuration, with his teammates spaced on the ground around him.

“And Brunson is not Michael Jordan.”

Brunson has always been the focal point of the Knicks offensive, but many on social networks estimated that he was out of date during the defeat of the 100-94 at Madison Square Garden.

Detroit Pistons won the first eliminatory match since 2008 ECF, beating the Knicks in match 2

He finished with a summit of 37 points during his 44 minutes on the ground, making a shot of 12 out of 27. However, he pulled a third of the 81 goals on the team’s field, and he was ultimately not enough to win a solid 2-0 lead before match 3 in Detroit.

“If this offense will just be Brunon bounce back basketball for 15 seconds and then, if it is a double team, it will return a pass to someone and hope that they are hitting three long, or if it will find a way to reach the line of fault. Dip a guy and get free shooting. Flop on the ground,” said Francesa.

Mikal Bridges collected 19 points out of 8 shots out of 18, while Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart and Og Anunoby each had 10 points to complete the first five.

One of Brunson’s main tactics when he has the ball is to try to shoot mistakes, because he is a solid free throwing shooter. He struck 9 of the 11 shots on Monday evening.

But Francesa does not like this style of basketball.

“How many times in one night is it Brunson on the ground? Thirty-two years? It is not attractive of basketball. All is Bronnson. Why do you think the other teams think he flops? He is on the field the whole match. It’s half of the offense of the Knicks,” he said.

Of course, this is not yet a disastrous situation for New York. The series is only two games in a better set.

But Francesa is concerned about a future potential series, perhaps with the NBA-Champion Boston Celtics in reigning, which would queue with New York in the second round if they were to win their series in the first round.

“Four guys will stand by watching Brunson, you never beat a good team. You are never going to beat the Celtics,” said Francesa.
