A meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) is currently underway, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, to assess the situation resulting from recent developments following New Delhi’s response to Pahalgam attack in Jammu and the Kashmir of Indian origin (IIOJK).

The high -level security group examines regional security and the diplomatic implications of India’s actions after the attack, as well as the evaluation of the position of Pakistan and the political response. The main civilian and military leaders are present to provide comments on the emerging situation.

Darrier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar said the NSC will make a “complete response” to India’s accusations, which he described as both serious and evidence.

The FM DAR criticized India’s “instinctive reaction” to the murder of 26 tourists in Pahalgam, stressing that no link with Pakistan had been established. “This is an unjustified anger,” he said, “and that is equivalent to Pakistani scapegoats for internal failures.”

He also said that the Industrial Water Treaty could not be suspended unilaterally, as it is an international agreement mediated by the World Bank.

Sources have indicated that the NSC meeting would examine the global security situation and write a strategy in the fears of awakening of a total potential conflict with India.

Meanwhile, sources told the Express PK Press Club that the government had decided to give a strong diplomatic response to the fraud of India, and a false propaganda against Pakistan after the attack on Pahalgam.

“The Indian drama will be exposed on all international forums. Propaganda of [Prime Minister Narendra] The Modi government will be on display and each strategy of India will be thwarted worldwide by diplomatic means, “said a source.

According to sources, consultations are underway at the highest level and any future strategy is approved by the Prime Minister. The sources said that Pakistan had already rejected the previous allegations of India and that this time too, the Modi government has no evidence to support its allegations.

On Wednesday, the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented condolences on the loss of tourist lives. “We are concerned about the loss of the life of tourists in an attack in the district of Annanag in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and the cashmere. We present our condolences to the relatives of the deceased and wish the injured a quick recovery,” the foreign affairs office said in a statement.
