The American senator Dave McCormick, the former managing director of Massive Hedge Fund Bridgewater Associates, puts his own money in Bitcoin (BTC), because the committee it is located is at the forefront of the lance for a legislative effort to regulate the digital asset industry.
McCormick made repeated recent investments in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to disclosure this week. Due to the ranges used in these legislative disclosure, the last amounts invested last month cannot be considered between $ 310,000 and $ 700,000.
The new investment follows the disclosure of McCormick up to $ 450,000 in ETF Bitwise in February, which potentially brought its full investment closer to one million. As a candidate for the Senate last year, the former hedge fund leading argued that America should lead to Crypto. He declared that during the first audience of the digital assets of the subcommittee in February, “this congress must work alongside President Trump to adopt bipartite legislation of digital assets which will guide the future of innovation and guarantee a solid economic future for the United States”
While his Bitcoin participation exceeds other legislators, he has put most of his investments in municipal securities in recent months, according to disclosure.
