Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan was ready to allow an international investigation into the recent pahalgam incident, suggesting that experts from European and neighboring countries are included.

Speaking on the television program stage, Asif reiterated the offer of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for a impartial investigation, stressing that Pakistan has no objection to international surveillance.

“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif clearly said: let the international community investigate Pahalgam’s incident and check the credibility of the allegations of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said AIF. He welcomed the recent speech of the Prime Minister as complete, addressing all the relevant questions.

Asif noted that European nations, neighboring countries and even members of the United Nations Security Council could be invited to supervise the investigation process to ensure transparency. He also underlined the crucial role of China, noting that Beijing shares borders with India and Pakistan and has issues in the question of cashmere. Asif pointed out that the cashmere conflict is a colonial heritage left by Great Britain, suggesting that the United Kingdom should also be involved in controlling the issue.

Shouting the Indian government, Khawaja Asif pointed out that even Indian citizens no longer trust Prime Minister Modi. “Modi’s credibility is in tatters; it manipulates the history of Pahalgam for political gains before the elections,” said AIF, noting that the Indian government has not yet provided credible evidence concerning the incident.

He accused Modi of having made accounts for electoral advantages, comparing the current situation with past false flag operations, including the attack on Pulwama. Asif allegedly alleged that Modi had previously encouraged violence against the Sikhs, Christians and other minorities in India to consolidate the support of extremist Hindu voters.

The Minister of Defense went further, accusing India of exporting terrorism to countries like Canada and the United States.

By concluding his remarks, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan is fully ready to defend himself against any assault. “We are not only 100% but 200% ready to protect each centimeter of our land. We have no aggressive intention, but any act of aggression will be encountered with a strong response,” he said.
